Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are unprepared for their fourth child, but that is not stopping them from being extremely excited about having another son.
The couple officially announced their good news on last night’s season 16 premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. However, their baby joy was revealed months ago, despite Kardashian wanting to keep baby four a secret until he was born.
Now that the cat is out of the bag, a source close to the couple is dishing on how they are feeling about welcoming their last child, a little over a year after Chicago West was born.

“She thinks it’s difficult to prepare mentally for a new baby. She felt the same about Chicago, but the second Chicago arrived, everything worked out great. Chicago fit in right away. It was like she had been a part of the family forever,” the insider shared with People magazine.
Kardashian’s unprepared feeling is not uncommon for moms. She is a busy woman, with three kids, a booming business and a reality TV show. Therefore, her feeling not quite ready for her new baby is normal. Once the little guy is here though, the KKW Beauty mogul will forget all about being not quite ready.
“Kim and Kanye are both very excited, Chicago grew so quickly, so they are happy about having one last baby in the house. But this is it, they both say. Four kids is the perfect number for them,” the source shared with the magazine.
On the premiere of KUWK, Kim Kardashian admitted to her youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, that she was not ready for the baby. Kardashian didn’t think having another baby would happen so quickly, therefore she was not prepared when the pregnancy took.

The reality TV star is not afraid to admit it is madness preparing for baby number 4. In a New York Times article featuring the savvy business family, Kardashian talked about making the nursery for her son. She called it the best kind of madness. Living a crazy, chaotic life, is nothing new for the West family.

Kardashian and West’s fourth child is due within the next few weeks. The baby boy will be born via a surrogate, just like Chicago. It was confirmed a couple of months ago that despite the couple wanting to use the same surrogate, she was not available, but they thrilled with their current surrogate. It all worked out in the end.
